stand back folks, there is nothing to see

I’ve been occupied with my Study of the Political for most hours of the last quarter of 2006 and have had precious little time for anything other. This website (STMP) and also BEC have not been updated in months… a sad state of affairs really. Furthermore proposed boundary changes and my moving plans mean […]

bosom buddy

This story got me posting as I’m a new father and my daughter is breastfed. Sarah was campaigning earlier this week with the NCT in support of their call for legislation to enshrine a woman’s right to breastfeed in public in England. The Scots have such legislation (must have been a devolved competancy) but in […]

The Teather Factor

Speaking on the ‘carnage’ following the local elections in Brent, Labour Cllr Mary Arnold acknowledges that Team Yellow worked hard for the victories they knotched up:
“There is also the Teather factor - there’s a machinery that the Lib Dems have got for producing leaflets and campaigning, for bringing people in to canvass.”

I blogged the 2005 General Election, now I’m back for more during the four weeks prior to the local elections in May.

About

The STMP blog notes the activities of Brent East’s elected representative Sarah Teather MP.

Why?

Many moons ago, inspired by Tim ‘Bloggerheads‘ Ireland, I began writing a blog called ‘Sarah Teather Is My MP‘ noting the activities of Brent East’s MP. This was one the first proxy-blogs created as part of the proxy blog project and we’ve come a long way since June 2004.

Mothballed website?

I continue to report on the activities of Sarah Teather, just not here. Visit robdyke.com/noc and check the categories for ‘Sarah Teather’ ‘Liberal Democrats’ ’sarah’s website’ or browse the archive here on the mothballed STMP site.
